Morning Tea with the Minister

Commencing Friday7 February and then the first Friday of each month from 10.30 am - 12.00 pm. Open to all. Come along for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat with the minister, Rev Karen Eller.

Uniting Church Adult Fellowship

UCAF (Uniting Church Adult Fellowship) meets monthly at the church hall on the fourth Wednesday at 1:30 pm

Op Shop

Our Op Shop operates 6 days a week in the church hall, Palmerston St entrance from car park.

Our trading hours are, Monday to Friday 11am to 4pm and Saturday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm.

We stock a large range of quality  clothing, household items, books and more.

Volunteers come from both the Drysdale congregation and from community supporters.   

Part of the profit is donated to community organisations. In December 2021 donations were forwarded to Drysdale Food Bank and Springdale Kinship Carers. In 2022 donations were forwarded to Drysdale Primary School Breakfast program, Springdale Neighbourhood Centre, Geelong Animal Welfare Service, and Queenscliff Rural Australians for Refugee Support. Organisations supported in 2023 were Drysdale Primary breakfast program, Clifton Springs PS breakfast program, Drysdale Food Bank, Springdale Kinship carers. In 2024 the organisations supported were Drysdale Primary breakfast program, Clifton Springs PS breakfast program, Drysdale Food Bank, and Wombat's Wish.

Breakfast Bible Study

The Breakfast Bible Study is held on the third Saturday of each month, from February, at Café Zoo, High Street, Drysdale at 8.00 am. For 2025 the studies will be based on the booklet “Sermon on the Mount" by John Stott. For more information contact 5251 2210 or the Church Office. 

LOOSE CHANGE RECIPIENT 2025

Loose change is collected throughout the year. For the first half of the year the recipient organisation is to be set at the annual meeting on 2 Feb.

Reflection

Recent activities include:

Retreat - Our retreat is normally held annually at the Portarlington Guide Hall.  There is a themed study for the day and a time for personal contemplation. The date for the 2025 Retreat is to be confirmed as Saturday 28 June. The guest speaker is to be advised. The program for 2024 is here: Program

Pilgrimage – Saturday 5 April 2025. A walk (driving is allowed) between five different locations with a liturgy to focus on aspects of a theme. The theme for 2025 is "Hope.” Lunch provided. No cost. Flyer for 2025 to be attached shortly.  Attached is the 2024 Liturgy
